Blacksburg -- Violet Lucille (Tunnie) Moore, 75, of 159 Grady Drive, Blacksburg, passed away Sunday, January 13th, 2013 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center.
Born in Gaffney, Miss Moore was the daughter of the late William (Bill) Rufus Moore and Vater Violia Caveny Moore. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.
Miss. Moore is survived by one sister, Julia Faye Failen of the home; three nieces raised in the home, Christine Bowen, Leslie Jones, and Christy Bowen of Blacksburg; and four nephews raised in the home, Billy Patrick Failen, James William Failen, Brandon Bowen, and Jonathan Childers of Blacksburg. She was preceded in death by brother Dargen Eugene Moore and Aunt Gladys May Caveny.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, January 16th, 2013 from 12:00pm - 1:00pm at Gordon Mortuary. Graveside services will be held Wednesday, January 16th, at 1:00pm at Mountain View Cemetery with Rev. Willie Lanier and Rev. Lucky Earls officiating.
The family will be at the residence.
