Forest City - Violet Newton Baynard, 82, of Forest City went to her heavenly home on Friday, September 14, 2018. She was the daughter of the late Henry Biddy and Ruby Beachboard Biddy. She was a former employee of Scott's vending, Ingles Deli, and an avid piano player having played at Riverside Baptist Church for many years.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband Earl B. Newton and her second husband Rev. Harold Baynard one son: Timothy R. Newton, one daughter: Deborah Church and a brother Jerry Biddy.

Left to cherish her memory are two sons: Steven E. Newton and wife Helen of Flat Rock; Dennis L. Newton of Ellenboro; two brothers, Joe Biddy of Ellenboro and Donnie Biddy of Charlotte, 7 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great-grandchildren; one step-daughter Beverly Pruett, 2 step grandchildren and 8 step- great grandchildren.

Funeral service will be held Saturday, September 22, 2018 at 3:00 PM, at Riverside Baptist Church with the Rev. Ted Blankenship officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:30 at the church prior to the service.

Interment will be at Oak Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery, Ellenboro.
