Virginia "Jinny" Moss Gibson, age 86, resident of Kings Mountain, NC went home to be with the Lord on May 5, 2016 at Carolinas Healthcare System, Kings Mtn. NC. She was born in Cleveland Co. NC to the late Forrest Evans and Laura Inez Jolly Moss. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 18 years, James Claude Gibson, Jr.; sister, Mildred Whetstine and brother, Solon Moss. Mrs. Gibson was retired as a teacher's assistant from Cleveland County Schools after 32 years of service. She was a member of Temple Baptist Church where she was a Sunday School Teacher and Secretary of the Women's Missions.

SURVIVORS: Son: James "Jim" C. Gibson, Jr. Kings Mtn. NC

Brothers: Earl Moss, Larry Moss, and Kenneth "Sonny" Moss, all of Kings Mtn.

Sisters: Sheila Ledford and Betty Hughes, both of Kings Mtn. NC

a number of nieces and nephews.
