Virginia Reep Pennington

SHELBY- Virginia Reep Pennington, 67, died Saturday, July 1, 2017 at Hospice of Wendover. She was born in Mecklenburg Co. to the late James and Lula Collins Reep. She was a master biscuit maker, loved working in her garden and growing flowers and was one of Elvis Presley's biggest fans.

PRECEDED: In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Evans Pennington, Sr. and great-granddaughter, Gabby.

SURVIVED: She is survived by her son, Roy Evans Pennington, Jr. and wife Natalie, of Shelby; daughters, Mary Dixon and husband Eugene, of Kings Mountain and Elizabeth P. Sheffler and husband Terry, of Kings Mountain; 7 grandchildren, Danny, Melissa, Robbie, Angel, Brandon, Troy and Vicky; 8 great grandchildren, Makenzie, Jace, Jadyon, Annabell, Kimberly, Hunter, Madison and Skylar; nephews, Thaniel Hope and Timmy Stillwell; nieces, Lisa Stillwell and Sherry Scarborough; Mother-in-law, Frances Pennington.

MEMORIALSERVICE: A celebration of life service will be held Wednesday, July 5, 2017 from 2-3 PM at Testa Family Hospice Chapel of Kings Mountrain.

CLERGY: Chaplain Janice Cooper will officiate
