MOORESBORO - Virginia Sutley Redfoot, 89, of Twin Creeks Road, Mooresboro, formerly of Hartstown and Cochranton, PA, died Thursday, May 28, 2015 at SECU Hospice House of Rutherford County. Mrs. Redfoot was born May 16, 1926, in Greenville, PA, a daughter of the late Marion Sutley and Marian Melvin Williams. She worked at Packard Electric in Warren, Ohio for over 20 years. In her retirement she was an active participant and instructor at the Meadville Senior Resource Center. Mrs. Redfoot and her husband, William, moved to Mooresboro, NC in 2012 where she became a member of the Liberty Baptist Church.
In addition to her husband, Bill, of 69 years, she is survived by her children, Frances Adams (Harold) and Richard Redfoot (Christa); her grandchildren, Nicole Barrett (Timothy), Luke Adams (Jessica), Richard Redfoot, and Robert Redfoot (Tamera); her great grandchildren, Jack, Anna, Cooper, Libbie, Max, Rosie, Jack, Jesse and Kinley. Mrs. Redfoot was a woman of God and loved her family.
A church service celebrating the life of Mrs. Redfoot was held at Liberty Baptist Church in Ellenboro, North Carolina on Saturday, May 30, 2015 at 3:00pm. Visitation was held two hours prior to the service at the church.
