Walter Chris Ingle, age 60, of Ingle Mountain Rd. died Monday, May 9, 2016 at Caromont Regional Medical Center. He was born on March 11, 1956 in Lincoln County to the late Helen Owens and W.C. Ingle. He was a long line truck driver. Chris enjoyed motorcycles, playing music, fishing and loved to make people laugh.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a sister.
He is survived by his daughters, Chrissie Wright and husband, Mark of Cherryville and Kathy Helms of FL; grandchildren, Christopher Lee Wright, Christian and Riley; and two sisters. He also leaves behind numerous close friends.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, May 11, 2016 at 3:00 PM at Bess Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery with Phil Goins officiating. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, from 1:00 to 2:30 PM at Carpenter's Funeral & Cremation Services.
