| Blacksburg -- Walter Dean Hambright, 52, of 114 Martin Drive, passed away Friday, July 27th, 2012, at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center.
Born in Gaffney, Mr. Hambright was the husband of Gloria Richards Hambright of the home and the son Maria Lourdes Agius of Beaufort, SC and the late Harold Dean Hambright and . He worked as a carpenter.
In addition to his wife and mother, Mr. Hambright is survived by a daughter, Patricia Hambright, of the home; two sisters, Maria Ferguson of Beaufort, SC and Rita Jean Turner of Virginia; a half-sister, Lisa Harry, of Virginia; a step-brother, Tony Martin, of Gastonia; and four grandchildren.
Mr. Hambright was preceded in death by his father, a son, Wendell Hambright, and a brother, Paul Dean Hambright.
The family will receive friends Friday, August 3rd, 2012, from 2:00pm - 3:00pm at Gordon Mortuary. Memorial services will immediately follow at 3:00pm in the Gordon Mortuary Chapel with Rev. Bruce Harry officiating.
The family will be at the home of Ricky Richards, 109 Monticello Street, Gaffney, SC.
