Gaffney -- Walter "Raymond" Wilburn, 64, passed away on Wednesday, October 28, 2015. He was the son of the late Walter B. Wilburn, Jr. and Virgie E. Wilburn and was formerly married to Cynthia Wright Santana. Mr. Wilburn was a veteran of the United States Army and was stationed in Germany.

He leaves behind a son, Aaron "Scott" Wilburn, three grandchildren, Aaron, Jade, and Sofia; two brothers, William "Slick" Wilburn and James "Robin" Wilburn; five sisters, Mary Bullock and husband, Jimmy, Paula Wallace and husband, Ed, Freida Wilburn, Kathy Patterson and husband, Jerry, and Phyllis Self and husband, Scott; aunts and uncles, and numerous nieces and nephews,

In addition to his parents, Mr. Wilburn was preceded in death by his grandparents, uncles, aunts, and a niece, Michele Elizabeth Bullock.

The family will receive friends Friday, November 6, 2015, from 4:00 - 5:00 pm at Calvary Baptist Church, 2929 Cherokee Avenue, Gaffney, SC. A memorial service will immediately follow at 5:00 pm with Rev. Stuart Kersey and Rev. Joey Shetley officiating.

The family will be at their respective homes.
