Walter Theodore Warlick, Jr.
 Walter Theodore Warlick, Jr., 88, of 760 Rockdale Road, Vale, entered
peacefully into life eternal on Thursday, September 26, 2013 at his home.

Walter was born in Cleveland County on August 12, 1925 to the late Walter
Theodore Warlick, Sr. and Lessie Lawrence Downs Warlick.

He served in the US Navy during World War II on a destroyer escort vessel in
the European Theater.  He returned home and started the family business,
Warlick Brothers Dairy, Inc.

Walter was a life-long active member of Norman's Grove Baptist Church.  He
served his church in numerous capacities including deacon, church secretary
and Sunday school teacher. 

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his brother, Robert
Warlick.

He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Ida Iwilla "Witts" Mull
Warlick; four daughters, Jane Moss and husband Steen of Denver, Lois
Lineberger and husband Bob of Lincolnton, Gail Anthony and husband Linny of
Vale and Beth Bechtold and husband, Karl of Newton; six grandchildren,
Carrie Moss Morgan and husband Pat, Will Lineberger and wife Alesha, Mary
Heather Lineberger and Lydia Lineberger, Sarah Katlyn Anthony, and Walt
Elmore;  two great-grandchildren; Anderson Lineberger and Sawyer Morgan; two
brothers, Ray Warlick of Vale and Troy Warlick of Casar; four sisters, Mary
Lou Davis of Shelby, Cecelia Miller of Lenior, Margaret Harbison of Webster
Grove, MO and Phyllis Miller of Huntersville. 

Visitation:  6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Friday at Stamey Funeral Home, Fallston


Funeral Service: 11:00 AM, Saturday at Norman's Grove Baptist Church

Officiating: Rev. Keith Huss and Rev. Cecil Buff

Burial: will follow in the church cemetery.

Memorials: May be made to Norman's Grove Baptist Church, 309 Casar-Belwood
Road, Lawndale, NC 28090 or to the Donors Choice.
