Wanda Hampton Collins, 59, of 196 Cherokee Falls Road, passed away Tuesday, March 20th, 2012 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center.
Born in Gaffney, Mrs. Collins was the wife of Bobby G. Collins of the home and the daughter of Margaret Ray Hampton and the late Jack Hampton. She worked as secretary in the office of Dr. Ishfaq Shah in Gaffney. She was a member of Eastside Baptist Church.
Mrs. Collins is survived by her husband, Bobby Collins of the home; her mother, Margaret Ray Hampton of Blacksburg; two sons, Richie McDonald and wife Angie, and Bobby Collins Jr. and wife Dawne all of Blacksburg; one daughter, Kristin Collins of Belton, SC; one brother, Bobby Hampton of Blacksburg; one sister, Linda Gordon and husband Scott of Blacksburg; four grandchildren; Ashley Collins, Megan Collins, Blake McDonald, and Miranda McDonald of Blacksburg.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, March 22nd, 2012 from 7:00pm - 8:30pm at Gordon Mortuary. Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 22nd, at 4:00pm at Gordon Mortuary Chapel with Rev. Eric Sellers and Arthur Hampton officiating. Interment will follow at Clingman Memorial Gardens.
The family will be at the residence.
