Warren Daniel “Dan” Shull Sr., age 59 of Oak St. died Tuesday, December 30, 2014, at Cleveland Regional Medical Center. He was born on January 12, 1955 in Lincoln County to Lloyd Wayne “Bill” Shull Sr. and Dorothy Louise Poston Shull, both of Waco. He was a member and deacon of Second Baptist Church. Dan retired as a superintendent of Beam Construction. He was involved with “Back in the Woods Again,” a member of Neal Hunting Club of Warren County, and loved hunting, fishing, and listening to bluegrass music.
Dan was preceded in death by a brother, Lloyd Wayne Shull, Jr.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife of 43 years, Loretta Self Shull; sons, Richard and Wanda Shull of Shelby, and Buck and Angel Shull of Afton, TN; father-in-law, Clarence Self of Waco; mother-in-law, Beadie Self of Cherryville; brothers, Don Shull (Kathy) of Waco, Joel Shull of Greenville, TN, Rob Shull (Phyllis) of Jonesboro, TN, and Jeff Shull of Waco; grandchildren, Dillion Shull, Brandon Shull, Colt Shull, Alex Davis, and Emily Warlock; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, January 2, 2015 at 7:00 PM at Second Baptist Church with Rev. Jerry Lail officiating. Burial will be private. The family will receive friends on Friday from 5:00 to 6:45 PM prior to the service in the church fellowship hall.
