Warren Shuford
 Mr. Warren Shuford, 70, of 205 Oak Grove - Clover Hill Church Road went to be with the Lord Wednesday, December 21, at The Brian Center in Lincolnton.

Born in Cleveland County, he was a son of the late Loren Robert Shuford and Pauline Floyd Shuford. Warren was a quiet man who touched many lives and will be greatly missed. He served in the Navy as an aviator machinist's mate 3 in Corpus Christi, Texas. He was owner and operator of Shuford's Tire Exchange and Auto Parts prior to becoming manager of the service department for Goodyear. After retiring Warren worked part time for S&R Auto Sales in Shelby. A member of Palm Tree United Methodist Church, he was a choir member, lay speaker, former Sunday school teacher and served on various church committees.

In addition to his parents, Warren was preceded in death by brother-in-law, Gene Dedmon.

Warren is survived by his wife of 49 years - the love of his life, Joyce Hammett Shuford; a son of whom he was very proud, Daryle Shuford and wife Susan of Lincolnton; grandson, who became the light of his life, Nathan Shuford; brother, Dwight Shuford and wife, Barbara of Shelby; sister, Joan S. Dedmon of Shelby; and several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service: 11:00 AM, Friday, Palm Tree United Methodist Church, Lawndale.

Officiating: Rev. Scott Owen and Mr. Daryle Shuford

Burial: Palm Tree United Methodist Church, Lawndale.
