Who Does The Healing
Sometimes we may get a small scratch on our body that soon heals and goes away.  We don’t even think about it.  We give no thought to who healed it or why it was healed.  Other times it may be more than a scratch and we get concerned about it.  That’s when we call on God to heal it.  We know, without a doubt, that if Jesus doesn’t heal the wound, it will not heal itself.  The Bible tells us that Jesus would break the Sabbath to heal a person that was blind so that he might see.  When we get right down to it, there is nothing that we can do without the help of Jesus.  Think about tying your shoe laces. It is such a simple little task that we don’t even think about it or who it is that gives us the ability to do it.  We feed ourselves and never thank God for the ability to do that or think about those who cannot tie their shoes or feed themselves.  Since God gives us our ability, it is His to take away in His timing and for purposes that only He knows.
God first breathed life into us with a soul. It is His privilege to call us home at any time he chooses.  Sometimes He allows us to lie for a while on our sick bed to get us to look up and focus on Him.  Sometimes He uses us to show others the way and we come up out of our sick beds and do many more years of work for Him.  I have seen this happen many times.  There was a saying as I was growing up that said,  “Jesus is Lord of all!”  He still is.
When I was traveling in foreign countries, I saw many people who did not worship God.  But, without Him their life would not exist here on earth.  He loves them just as he loves you and I and He suffered that agonizing death on Mt. Calvary for them as well. One man testified to a lady missionary that there was someone in the sky that caused his emotions to bother him.  She told him that person’s name was Jesus.  The missionary said that a big smile came over his face as he said, “that’s his name, Jesus!”  What a blessing, friends.  You need to get you a KJV red letter Bible and read John Chapter 9. Read the whole chapter and as you read, keep your eyes and ears open for learning.
