Cherryville - Mr. Willard Thomas "Tom" Quinn, 86, passed away on Friday,
July 24, 2015 at Golden Living Center in Charlotte

Mr. Quinn was born in Catawba County, NC on August 13, 1928 a son of the
late Clarence E. Quinn, Sr. and Hattie Ramsey Quinn. He worked as a
dockworker for Carolina Freight Carriers Corporation of Cherryville and
served in the U.S. Navy during WWII.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by eight siblings,
Shirley Quinn, Margaret "Boot" Beam, Nell Homesley, Vera Camp, Hinse Quinn,
C. E. Quinn, Jr., Loy Quinn and Warren G. "Hoover" Quinn.

Survivors include his sister, Helen Q. Beam of Cherryville and a number of
nieces and nephews.

A Graveside service will be held at City Memorial Cemetery in Cherryville on
Sunday, July 26, 2015 at 3:00PM with Chaplain Jeff Cash officiating.

Visitation will follow the service at the graveside.
