Mr. William “Bill” Byron Williams, Jr., 53, of Old Lincolnton Road, Shelby, NC, passed away Monday, May 31, 2010. Services were held at Stamey Funeral Home Chapel. Burial followed in Rose Hill Memorial Park.
Mr. Williams was preceded in death by his parents, William Bryon Williams, Sr. and Alice Walls Williams; and his grandparents, Mellie and Robert Walls and Annie and Walter Williams.
He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Diane Cole Williams; 3 sons, Chris Williams and wife Laura of Winston-Salem, Travis Williams and Mitchell Williams, both of Shelby; 1 daughter, Haley Williams of Shelby; 4 grandchildren; and 1 sister, Patsy Lee and husband, John of Shelby.
