William (Bill) Wesley Bolin, Sr, 79, Smyrna, SC, went to be with the Lord, Sunday, February 6, 2022 at Piedmont Medical Center.

A native of Smyrna, SC, he was the son of the late Paul and Mabel Batchelor Bolin.

Cherishing his life and legacy are sons; William (Bill) Bolin II and his wife Dixie, of Smyrna and S. Todd Bolin and his wife Tasha, of Shelby, NC, his grandchildren; Wes Bolin, Ben Bolin, Conner Bolin, Kristyn Threatt, Jesse Threatt, Brooke Bolin and Blake Bolin and 6 great grandchildren. In addition to his immediate family are brothers; James E. Bolin of Smyrna, John (Alene) Bolin of Hickory Grove, Art (Joyce) Bolin of Alabama, sisters; Connie B. Hulett of California, Mary Sue B. Allison (Boyce) of Gaffney and Nancy B. Coughlin (James) of Tennessee and 2 sisters in law; Betty Jane Ligon and Joanne Bolin.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers; David Bolin and Max Bolin and a sister Ellen Davis, also brothers-in-law; Jack Davis and Ed Hulett and a sister-in-law, Billie Jean Bolin.

The family will receive friends Friday, February 11, 2022, 6:00-8:00PM, at White Columns Funeral Service, 102 N. Rutherford St., Blacksburg. A Celebration of Life Service will be held graveside, Saturday, February 12, 2022, 11:00AM, at Canaan United Methodist Church Cemetery, 4810 Canaan Church Road, Smyrna, SC, with Revs. Beth Drennen and Eddie Bolin officiating.
