William "Billy" Allen Culbertson, Jr., 54, of 143 Shannon Acres Dr., Blacksburg, SC, passed away March 17, 2018. He is the son of Lottie Martin Culbertson Blanton, of Blacksburg and William A. Culbertson, Sr., of Cornelius, NC. He was a carpenter by trade. He was a gentle, good person with a big heart. He loved to fish. He was a graduate of Blacksburg High School and played on the school football team.
In addition to his mother and father, he is survived by two brothers - Michael Culbertson and wife, Cheryl, of Gaffney, and Steve Culbertson and wife, Lori, of Blacksburg; two sisters - Rita Childers and husband, Mark, of York, SC, and Shannon Culbertson and wife, Amy, of Huntington Beach, CA; and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his sister Kim Mullinax and his step-father, Tommy Blanton.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, March 20, 2018, from 1-2:00 PM, at Broad River Baptist Church. A Celebration Of Life Memorial Service will begin at 2:00 PM, with Dr. Dennis Willoughby officiating. At other times, the family will be at the home.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Broad River Baptist Church Building Fund, 419 W. Cherokee St., Blacksburg, SC, 29702.
