Rev. William Crawford Tessener, 78 formerly of Shelby, NC passed away Saturday, September 11, 2010. Services were held at Cleveland Funeral Services Chapel. Burial followed in Rose Hill Memorial Park.
Mr. Tessener served our country in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Florence Marie Baugham Tessener; his parents, Charlie Lester Tessener and Dula Mae Causby Tessener; 1 brother, C.D. Tessener; and 2 grandchildren.
He is survived by 3 sons, Marvin Tessener and wife Donna of Shelby, David Tessener and wife Janet of Lexington, NC, and Michael Tessener and wife Denise of Fayetteville, NC; 2 daughters, Faye Hoyle and husband Bruce of Shelby, and Helen Estes and companion Ronnie of Lawndale, NC; 1 brother, Curtis Tessener of Shelby; 3 sisters, Buna Wray and Marjorie Wilkie, both of Polkville, NC, and Paulette White of Shelby; 11 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
