William Donald Spencer, 63, a resident of Southern Manor Retirement Home, died on Friday, January 09, 2015. A native of Cherokee County, South Carolina, he was born on November 28, 1951, a son of the late Mack D. Spencer and Corrie Angeline Splawn Spencer. He was a retired Textile Worker and of the Baptist faith.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by one sister, Maxine Reece. He is survived by two brothers, Douglas Spencer of Florida and Dwight Spencer of Gaffney; his sisters, Hazel Pate of Rocky Mount, NC, Janice Lynette Rudasill of Gaffney, and Brenda Kirby of Cowpens.
A Celebration of Mr. Spencer’s Life will be held at the graveside on Tuesday, January 13, 2015 at Hicks Grove Baptist Church with Colton Hames officiating. The family will greet friends and family immediately following the service at the cemetery.
