Dallas - Mr. William Everett "Bill" Rhyne, 88, passed away on Saturday, May
12, 2018 at Peak Resources in Cherryville.

Mr. Rhyne was born on May 5, 1930 in Gaston County, NC a son of the late
Everett Jenkins Rhyne and Lucy Jane Thornburg Rhyne. He was retired after
32 years of service with AT&T. He was of the Presbyterian faith. Mr. Rhyne
enjoyed woodworking, gardening and fishing in the ocean.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister, Irma Rhyne
and a brother Jack Rhyne.

Survivors include his wife of 67 years, Mildred Hudson Rhyne of the home;
three sons, David Rhyne of Charlotte; Thomas Rhyne of Dallas and Gerald
Rhyne of Albemarle; a grandson, Trevor Dylan Rhyne of Charlotte. Also
surviving are several special nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be on Wednesday May 16, 2018 from 1:00 to 1:45 PM at
Stamey-Cherryville Funeral Home.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, May 16, 2018 at
Stamey-Cherryville Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Robert Wallace officiating.

Burial will be at Long Creek Memorial Baptist Church Cemetery in Dallas.
