Mr. William Grady Brackett, 80, of 144 Bald Mountain Rd., Casar, NC passed away Thursday, April 14, 2011. Services were held at Olive Grove Baptist Church, Casar, NC. Burial followed in the church cemetery.
Mr. Brackett served our country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Inez Poole Brackett; his parents, Henry Raymond Brackett and Mary Katherine Hull Brackett; 1 daughter, Lynn Brackett; and 1 brother, Alvin Brackett.
He is survived by 2 sons, Keith Brackett and wife Vickie, and Ray Brackett and wife Cindy, all of Casar; 1 brother, RA Brackett of Casar; 2 sisters, Mozelle Willis of Casar, and Pauline VanDyke of Bostic; 3 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren.
Stamey Funeral Home, Fallston, NC is serving the family.
