Blacksburg -- William Henry Scoggins, 78, of 253 Mullinax Circle, Blacksburg, passed away Monday, April 8th, 2013 at his sons residence 315 Mullinax Circle.
Born in Gaffney, Mr. Scoggins was the widower of Clara Elizabeth Stone Scoggins and the son of the late Earnest Hannon Scoggins and Emaline Laura Grooms Scoggins. He worked formerly as welder with Daniel Construction and was of the Baptist faith.
Mr. Scoggins is survived by one son, William Stoney Scoggins of Blacksburg; one daughter, Judy Bailey of Blacksburg; two brothers, Ronnie Scoggins of Sharon and Johnny Scoggins of York; one sister, Patsy Childers of Kings Mountain, NC; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by brothers Dean, Jimmy, Joe, and Junior Scoggins and sister Sara Scoggins.
Family will be at respective homes.
Private funeral services will be held at a later date.
