William Howard "Dub" Brady, Jr.
 William Howard "Dub" Brady, Jr., 79, of 5101 Seven Pines Road, Lawndale, met
his heavenly Father, Thursday, October 2, 2014 at his home.

Dub was born in Gaston County, on January 10, 1935, to the late William
Howard Brady, Sr. and Bessie Randall Brady.  He was retired from landscaping
after 45 years having worked for Cherryville Nursery and Shufords Home &
Garden and served in the US Army.

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his three brothers,
Manuel Brady, Hazel Brady and Arolander Brady; and three sisters, Juanita
Fielders, Mildred Brown, and Mazel Williams.

He is survived by his wife Shirley Ann Newton Brady; son, Terry Brady of
Shelby; two daughters, Sherry Howell of Lawndale and Tabitha Barkley of
Lawndale; two sisters, Daunita Blanton of Shelby and Gladys Hartman of
Charlotte; seven grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held at Cleveland Memorial Park on 3:00 P.M. on
Friday with the Rev. Jimmy Black officiating.

The family will greet friends immediately following the service.
