Mr. William Kirby Runnels, 59, of 957 Sellerstown Road, passed
away on Thursday, April 21, 2016 at his residence.

Kirby was born in Cleveland County, NC on June 26, 1956 a son of the late
Margaret Kathleen Murphy Runnels and William Darrell Runnels of Fresno,
California. He was retired as a long haul driver with Turner Trucking in
Boiling Springs. Kirby served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam era.

In addition to his mother he was preceded in death by a son, Charlie Clayton
and a brother Nicky Darrell Runnels.

In addition to his father survivors include his son, Zack Clayton of
Cherryville and two sisters, Lori Runnels of Charlotte and Emily Susan Myers
of Dallas.

Visitation will be on Thursday, April 28, 2016 from 12:45 to 1:45PM at
Stamey-Cherryville Funeral Home & Cremation Service.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00PM on Thursday, April 28, 2016 at
Stamey-Cherryville Funeral Home & Cremation Service Chapel with Dr. Dennis
Bean officiating.

Burial will be private.
