| Willie Alma Jolley, 89, of McCraw Road, Mooresboro, died on Friday, August 30, 2013 at her residence. A native of Cleveland County, she was born on July 07, 1924, a daughter of the late L.J. and Mary Etta McCraw Jolley. She attended Gardner-Webb College, Limestone College, Meredith College, and Carver School of Missions and Social Work. Mrs. Jolley retired from Rutherford County Schools as a Reading Coordinator. She was a member of Prospect Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brothers, Ernest, Ramon, Otha, R.D., Ara, Elmer, and Hamon Jolley; her sisters, Vernie Mae and Trubie Jolley and Verdie Jolley Womack. She is also preceded in death by three nephews. She is survived by five nieces and three nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 3:15pm on Sunday, September 01, 2013 at Prospect Baptist Church with the Rev. Ernie Cole and the Rev. Keith Dixon officiating. Burial will follow at Cherokee Creek Baptist Church of Gaffney. Visitation will be held from 2:00pm-3:00pm at the church.
