Wilma M. Sanders
 Wilma M. Sanders, 96, formerly of 506 Holmes Street, passed away  April 2, 2014,   at Peachtree Centre in Gaffney.  Born in Blacksburg in 1918, she was the widow of the late Nephi Callis Sanders and daughter of the late M. Andrew and Maud White Martin. 
 
A single mother, homemaker, and provider upon the death of her husband, she retired as a bookkeeper from Broad River Electric Co-operative.  She was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day-Saints where she held many positions of service especially teaching little children in the Primary organization.
 
Surviving are two sons, Michael L. Sanders and wife, Herta, of Orem, Utah,  Randall L. Sanders and wife, Laura, of Gaffney, and one daughter, Brenda S. Hansen and husband, Willard, of West Jordan, Utah, three brothers, Marquis K. Martin and wife, Dorothy, of Spartanburg , Milton T. Martin and wife, Ann, of Ringgold ,Georgia and Manfred G. Martin and wife, Patricia, of Gaffney.  Wilma had 17 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren, and several great, great grandchildren. She was predeceased by a sister, Hazel M. Sansing of Gaffney.
 
The family will receive friends from 10-11:00 AM, Wednesday, April 9, 2014, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day-Saints, 701 West Buford Street, Gaffney, SC.  Mrs. Sanders' service will begin at 11:00 AM with Elder Lynn Lawhon and Elder Manfred Martin officiating.    Interment will be in Frederick Memorial Gardens.  At other times, the family will be at the home of Manfred Martin, 105 Mimosa Drive, Gaffney, SC.
 
Memorials may be made to the Fast Fund, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day-Saints, Gaffney, SC.
