Wilma “Nana” Bernice Vinesett, age 75, went home to be with the Lord Wednesday, October 8, 2014 at her home. Born in Mecklenburg County on July 24, 1939 she was the daughter of the late William Bernard and Mary Moore Toole. Wilma was an active member of Flint Hill Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School Class and sang in the choir. Wilma was a substitute teacher for many years at Crest Middle School. She was an avid reader, loved playing cards, and loved to travel. She enjoyed watching the Atlanta Braves play but her favorite teams were those of her grandchildren. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

In addition to her parents, Wilma is preceded in death by her first husband, Cecil Hunsinger; a son, Danny Hunsinger; a brother, Doug Toole; and two sisters, Doris Porter and Mary Rawlins.

Wilma is survived by her husband of 28 years, Tommy Vinesett; their 5 children, Carolynn Steagall and husband Mike of Gaffney, Donna Poston and husband Phil of Shelby, Lisa Trice and husband Butch of Shelby, Tim Vinesett and wife Elizabeth of Boiling Springs, Wendy Morgan and husband Rob of Huntersville; a brother, Dr. Bernard Toole and partner Jim Gay of Atlanta Ga.; a sister, Linda Hughes of Rocky Mount; daughter-in-law, Susan Hunsinger of Kings Mountain; brother-in-law Holland Porter of Manning SC; fourteen grandchildren; three great grandchildren: Emmalyn Lloyd, Leland Steagall, Elizabeth Steagall; numerous nieces and nephews and a host of other family members.

Funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 11, 2014 at 2:00 pm at Flint Hill Baptist Church with Pastor Shane Kirby officiating. The family will receive friends an hour before the service from 1:00pm until 2:00pm.
