WoodMill Winery Black & Blue Festival Packs 'Em In
Folks from all over the area enjoyed bluegrass bands, wine tastings, a craft show and several other activities at this year’s WoodMill Winery festival. Pictured here, with his daughter Erin, is owner Larry Cagle in front of the 23 awards the Winery has won in the past two years. Larry insists they pick the grapes one at a time and said they are getting ready to process 100,000 bottles. Recently, Harris-Teeter issued him a contract to include his selection of wines in twenty-one of their locations. All of the “Black and Blue” festival proceeds were to be given to three non-profit organizations, Child Advocacy, Homeless Shelter, and Relay for Life.
