World’s Largest Swimming Lesson

Save Lives!
Safe Kids Is partnering with all three Cleveland County YMCAs and Shelby Aquatic Center, which have registered as the World’s Largest Swimming Lesson host locations for the World Record attempt.
Safe Kids Cleveland County, Cleveland County YMCAs, Shelby Aquatic Center, kids, parents and community members will gather at aquatic facilities across our county and around the globe to set a new World Record for the Largest Swimming Lesson ever conducted, to spread the word that swimming lessons saves lives.
Pre-registration is now until June 16 at the Shelby City Park office and all three YMCA branch offices during operating hours.
Please note that the Guinness World Record attempt will begin precisely at 11 a.m. Everyone participating in the record attempt must be registered and at the pool of their choice by 10 a.m., Friday, June 20th.
There is no age limit to participate. Everyone is welcome.
