Zinnie Bivens Talbert, 90 of Lincolnton passed away Thursday, December 28,
2017 at White Oak Manor in Shelby.

Born February 6, 1927 in Lincoln County, she was a daughter of the late John
Levi Bivens and Belzora Johnson Bivens. She was retired from JP Stevens and
was a member of Roseland Baptist Church. Mrs. Talbert enjoyed doing
crossword puzzles and yard work especially her flower garden.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband,
Truemond Talbert; a granddaughter, Emily Michelle Boston and 12 brothers and
sisters.

Survivors include a daughter, Beth Boston and husband, Vic of Lawndale and a
grandson, Jacob Boston and wife, Christyn of Lawndale.

Visitation will be 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, Saturday at Stamey-Tysinger Funeral
Home.

A funeral service will be 2:00 PM, Saturday at Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home
Chapel with Rev. Wayne Brittain officiating.

Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Lincolnton.
