Mountaineer Days Heritage Festival is Back!

The City of Kings Mountain is proud to bring back a beloved festival, the Mountaineer Days Heritage Festival, scheduled for October 12, 2024.
The festival kick-off will begin Friday, October 11th, at 7 p.m., when country music artist, author, and Kings Mountain native Jimmy Wayne will perform at the Joy Performance Center.

The third annual Earl Scruggs Music Festival came to a close Sunday evening after country music icon Tanya Tucker brought concert goers to their feet with her popular "Delta Dawn" singing from the Foggy Mountain Stage.
Thousands of fans from across the country attended the three day Labor Day weekend festival.

(TACC) is a non-profit agency that provides general public transportation for Cleveland County residents.TACC started back in April 1988 in an uptown Shelby location before moving to a spot at the corner of Double Shoals road and NC18. It settled in its present location at 952 Airport Road, Shelby in July 1999. TACC's white and blue vans are a familiar sight in and around the county.
