Clyde Farris Hamrick
 Clyde Farris Hamrick, 64, passed away at his home Friday, Jan. 13, 2012, in Granbury, Texas.

Clyde was born in Shelby on April 10, 1947 to William Thomas and Mary Alice Bryant Hamrick. He attended Cleveland County Schools and enjoyed playing baseball in his teens.  He married Vicki Carol Thrailkill from Meridian, Mississippi in March of 1978 and they made their home in Granbury.

He was a U. S. Navy veteran and a retired real estate salesman. His enjoyment included fishing, cooking, and NASCAR.  He loved his family and his number one favorite thing was being a Paw Paw to his three precious granddaughters.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his grandparents, Sam and Molly Gilreath Bryant and Farris and Fairy Hicks Hamrick; and his brother-in-law, Graham Champion.

He is survived by his loving caregiver and wife of 33 years, Vicki Hamrick of Granbury; daughters, April Hamrick Kramer and husband Jim of Frisco and Christa Hamrick of Granbury; son, William “Bill” Thomas Hamrick, II and wife Holly of Kingwood; granddaughters, Lexi-age 11, Braylee-age 4, and Leighton-age 1; sisters, Brenda Hamrick Champion of Shelby, and Vivian Hamrick Wease and husband Don of Bessemer City; brother, William Keith Hamrick and wife Phyllis of Shelby; nephew, Kali Graham Champion and daughter Addison of Shelby; nieces, Kristy Champion Littlejohn and husband Matthew and son Cameron of Raleigh and Kelly Hamrick Beavers and husband Greg and daughter Anna of Lenoir.

Memorial Service:  With his family from Texas and Shelby, it will be Saturday at 4 p.m. at Clay-

 Barnette Funeral Home.  Visitation will follow the service.
