Cast members of the musical "Mid-Life!" (l-r):Laura Wheeler, Craig L. Davis, Laurie Horsley, Caroline Dedmon, Stephen A. Cooper, and David Baez.

The current production of the musical "Mid-Life!" by the Greater Shelby Community Theatre marks a new level of achievement for the organization. It is perhaps one of the best productions they have ever offered.
While the theatre at Cleveland Community College is being remodeled, Gardner-Webb University has graciously offered its' Millennium Playhouse in Boiling Springs for the GSCT production.
A constant applause and laughter attests to the acceptance by the audience. "Mid-Life!-The Crisis Musical" is a series of vignettes portraying all the wacky phases of life as we get older. The depictions are truly hilarious and often strikes accord with real life. The clever use of large eye charts placed on the sides of the stage is used to preface most of the one act scenes.
This extraordinary performance will be held at GWU's Millennium Playhouse on Friday, Jan.16th and Saturday, Jan.17th at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, Jan.18th at 2:30 p.m. Adult tickets are $12 and Students & Seniors $10.
Admission is free for all Gardner-Webb students, faculty and staff with a proper GWU ID. The playhouse is located at 110 South Main Street in Boiling Springs.
