“Sweet Dreams” To Perform At Cleveland Community College
Renowned musical ensemble, “Sweet Dreams” will be performing at Cleveland Community College on February 18, at 7:00 p.m. This six member group will perform R&B, Old School, Jazz and some original tunes. Formed in 1984, this Durham based group travels the southeast entertaining for clients such as The Carolina Panthers and The Charlotte Bobcats. Sweet Dreams has also opened for great musicians including; Peabo Bryson, Boney James and Stephanie Mills. Sweet Dreams is also involved in educational seminars and workshops that relate to African-American music, history, performance and production.
 The concert will be held in the Mildred H. Keeter Auditorium on the CCC campus and is free and open to the public. It is being co-sponsored by the CCC, Student Government Association, The Cleveland County Arts Council and The Shelby Negro Woman’s Club, Inc.
