16th Annual Special Olympics Cleveland County fishing tournament at Lake Norman a big success

The 16th annual Special Olympics Cleveland County Fishing tournament was held on November 5th on Lake Norman. This tournament is an important money raiser for the Special Olympics program right here in Cleveland County, and this year's tournament was very successful. 104 boats, most with 2 team members, showed up to fish to support the cause, and produce a tight nail biting weigh in. Congratulations and thanks to all who participated.

The top 10 are listed below.

1st • Rob Digh and Aaron Digh - 5 fish - 13.81 lbs.

2nd • Shane Lineberger and John Parker - 5 fish - 13.61 lbs.

3rd • Jeff Queen and KJ Queen - 5 fish - 13.00 lbs.

4th • Jeff Hager and Darrell Hager - 5 fish - 12.54 lbs.

5th • Donald Poteat and Chris Anderson - 5 fish - 12.21 lbs.

6th • Charlie Sipe and Charles Sipe - 5 fish - 12.04 lbs.

7th • Chuck Douthit and Robert Stitner - 5 fish - 11.86 lbs.

8th • David Henddrick and Logan Hendrick - 5 fish - 11.83 lbs.

9th • Vince Parker and Mark Parker - 5 fish - 11.81 lbs.

10th • Roger Hoover and Scott Hamrick - 5 fish - 11.72 lbs.
