The 2012 Shelby Parks and Recreation Second Season Baseball Leagues are underway. Games will be played the Shelby City Park baseball fields, located at 850 W. Sumter Street, two to three times per week through August 9th. Pictured above Ethan Melton, a member of the Pee Wee Dolphins, takes a swing at their latest practice. Leagues include Pee Wee (8-10 years old), Little Tar Heel (11 & 12 years old) and Junior Tar Heel (13 & 14 years old).
