2016 Crouse Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary Christmas Parade is Dec 3rd

At 1:00PM on Saturday, December 3, 2016 the Crouse Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary will be sponsoring their 3rd Annual Community Christmas Parade in Downtown Crouse, NC.
Spectators are welcome and interested churches, organizations or individuals are urged to submit an application form to enter golf carts, tractors with trailers, floats, lawn mowers with trailers, classic cars, trucks, four wheelers, bicycles, floats, and goats, horses with wagons or buggies and horses with riders.
The number of entries for the event grows each year and this year we hope to exceed 2015's turnout! We do ask that business and corporate entities maintain a seasonal atmosphere and play down any commercial aspects. It is also worth mentioning that The Santa Claus Float at the end of the parade will be the only Santa Claus in the parade.
A meeting will be held to discuss the lineup for the parade on Monday, November 21, 2016 at the Crouse Fire Department, located on Old Hwy 150, in Crouse at 7:00. Organizations are asked to send one representative to this meeting.
On parade day all entries will begin lining up at 12:00 Noon on Swanson Road, south side of the Hwy 150 Bypass, in Crouse North Carolina. With all entries required to be on site by 12:30 PM.
All entries must have a holiday theme.. NO Exceptions.
Be creative. Decorate your entry with a festive holiday theme, use your imagination, and JOIN IN THE FUN!!!
There is no entry fee to participate but each entry is required to submit a Participant Application Form, with the deadline for submission being Friday, November 18, 2016. Anyone interested can pick up Participant Applications at the following locations in Crouse, Mem'ry Lane, Crouse Fire Department or Crouse Community History & Photo Project office. Or you can request an application be emailed to you by sending a request to rramsey6@bellsouth.net.
The organization is simple. We announce the parade at local churches and put up signs announcing the parade throughout the community. Everyone simply shows up and the fun begins. Last year we estimated 100's of people lining the parade route and this year we anticipate an even larger crowd.
If you are looking for good family fun, we think you will find nothing better than visiting downtown Crouse for the 3rd Annual Christmas Parade at 1:00 pm on Saturday, December 3rd, 2016.
