22nd Belwood Antique Tractor & Engine Festival
Heading the festival’s parade was Belwood Boy Scout Troop 413, who proudly stepped out precisely at 1 o’clock on Saturday.
For three days, September 6th, 7th and 8th the Belwood Heritage Museum hosted their annual salute to antique tractors and engines.Thousands came out to enjoy the festivities and the fall like air. The event included a lawn mower pull, kids tractor pull and antique tractor pulls. A big parade was held on Saturday. Hundreds of children and adults gathered up free candy thrown from participants. The old Belwood school grounds featured a saw mill, country store, blacksmith, pottery, delicious foods, arts & crafts and camping facilities. All proceeds go to the Belwood Heritage Museum.  Pictured is the 1917 REO Speed Wagon - the Lansing, Michigan company produced this ancestor to the pickup truck and was in the automobile industry from 1905 to 1975. - MA Andrews
