There was a big gathering of VW owners, from across the east coast, that converged on the Cleveland County Fairgrounds on Friday and Saturday, September 11th-12th. For a $10 admission, you could see all kinds of Volkswagen Beetles, cars, and buses both days. Some were customized, some were in original condition and all were proudly presented by VW enthusiasts. The annual event included vendors, a special kids corner, 2015 t-shirts, and parts for those needing them. This year there were over 200 VW vehicles on display. The money raised by the East Coast VW German Invasion is given to the Shriners Burn Hospital in Greenville, SC and to local cancer patients. It was a great time for Volkswagen "show and tell", and the benefit is always rewarding to all its' participants.
