| A Visit To Gingerbread Lane |

The Foundations of Education Huskins students sponsored a “Polar Express Stops at Gingerbread Lane” event at Crest High School on Thursday, December 15th. Children were invited to decorate several little gingerbread houses with icing, candies and cereals, using wooden craft sticks. The special event also featured an appearance from Santa. Pictured, Nicole and her son Paxton (left) and Mandy and son Carson show off their creative houses. The Future Teachers of America headed up the activities. Special thanks to Lori Nanney, FTA advisor, and the help of FTA President, Jessalyn Jenks and her members. Each child was able to take their personal decorated house with them. Proceeds were donated to Hospice.
