Ada Flora Ledford, 89, entered her Heavenly home on December 4, 2025 at Hospice of the Carolina Foothills in Forest City. She was born in Cleveland County, NC, on May 19, 1936 to the late Walter Ledford and Beulah Armour Ledford.

Flo was preceded in death by her sister, Dorothy Louise Ledford Warren, her brother, James Clifton Ledford, and her brother-in-law Wilbur Evans "Woody" Warren. Flo and her sister Pat shared a special bond and lovingly called each other "Lulu and Sis." To friends and neighbors, they were known as "Pat and Flo," two sisters who were always together.

Flo is survived by her great nephew James D. Hensley, Jr. and his wife Carmen.

A service to honor the life of Miss Ledford will be held 2:00 PM Wednesday, December 10, 2025 in the Chapel of Cecil M. Burton Funeral Home & Crematory. Burial will follow the service at Sunset Cemetery in Shelby.
