Agnes Splawn, age 71, of Caroleen, passed away Monday, April 27, 2020 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center.

Agnes was born February 25, 1949 in Rutherford County to the late Scott Wilson and Mary Louise Tucker Wilson. She was a graduate of Chase High School, class of 1967. Agnes worked for Cone Mills-Avondale Plant and Sara Lee National Textiles for many years. She most recently worked as a cashier for Wal-Mart. Agnes was a member of Victory Baptist Church in Ellenboro and enjoyed reading, playing games on her I-Pad, and doing yard-work. She was a dedicated mother and loved her family dearly.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Marshall Gerald Splawn and brother, Reginald "Reggie" Wilson.

Those left to cherish her memory include her son, Robert "Robbie" Splawn (Misty) of Bostic; daughter, Lynn Splawn of Caroleen; sister, Gloria Holland (Randy) of Lattimore; brother, Ronald "Ronnie" Wilson (Mary Jo) of Rutherfordton and several nieces and nephews.

A celebration of Agnes' life will be held on a later date.
