| Airport Hosts Annual Fly-In & Open House |

The annual Fly-in & Open House at the Shelby-Cleveland County Regional Airport was held last weekend, Saturday, October 18th. The popular event had all types of aircraft on display on the airport’s Woodson Field. Pictured is Captain Art Corburn, who’s been a member of the United States Air Force for 16 years, with two of his sons, Arthur and Caleb. They were admiring one of the most popular planes there, this prop naval prop plane owned by Frank Sincox. Hundreds of spectators and aircraft enthusiast turned out for the experience. Airplane and helicopter rides were also available to the public.
