Crest High Senior Alexis Aldinger was recognized by Shelby American Legion Post 82 for her participation in the High School Oratorical Contest. Alexis won the post competition and District 23 competition, and was first runner up in the Division 5 Contest. Post 82 First Vice Commander made a presentation to her at the April 8th meeting. She was accompanied by her parents, Dr. Kyle Aldinger and his wife Christa, and her grandparents, Roger and Merridith Martin. Roger joined Post 82 in March.
