Amanda "Mandy" "Pooh" Seagle Mitchell of Casar Belwood Road in Lawndale, passed away on Wednesday, August 9, 2023 at Hospice in Wendover in Shelby.

Mandy was born on November 27, 1966 in Lincoln County, NC a daughter of Doris Ann Norwood Brown of Lawndale and the late Benjamin Gary Seagle. She was a member of Gloryland Baptist Church of Lincolnton. She worked as a CNA at the Brian Center in Lincolnton and also worked for an embroidering company.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her husband, Guy Mitchell.

Survivors, in addition to her mother, include two sons, Travis Mitchell of Lawndale; Dustin Mitchell of Colorado and a brother, Benjie Seagle of Asheville.

The family will have a private graveside service at Gloryland Baptist Church in Lincolnton.
