Amanda Sue Ball Wilcox, 72, passed away on Thursday, November 14, 2024 at her residence.

She was born on January 2, 1952 in Cleveland County, to the late Everett Lewis Ball and Morine Green Ball. Sue was retired from Cleveland Regional Medical Center as a Emergency Room Receptionist.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Rita Matheson.

She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Richard Brian Wilcox; son, Troy Dixon (Jaclyn) of Shelby; sister, Carol Lovelace (Wayne) of Shelby; three grandchildren, Taylor (Bobby), Kelsea and Kennedy (Aaron) and four great-grandchildren, August, Denali, Everett and Kato.

The family will receive friends on Monday, November 18, 2024 from 11:00am to 12:15pm at Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, November 18, 2024 at 1:00pm at Cleveland Memorial Park.
