Angelia Renee Tarbush Pruitt, 41 of Lawndale passed away on Tuesday, July 1, 2025.

Born on August 16, 1983, in Gaston County, NC she was the daughter of Robert Sutter and the late Garrett Tarbush and Donna Byrd Hambrick.

Angelia's Christian faith was the cornerstone of her existence. Her relationship with God was evident in her everyday actions and the grace with which she approached life's challenges. She was an active member of Norman's Grove Baptist Church, where she participated in numerous community outreach programs, always striving to embody the love and teachings of Christ.

She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Joel Fowler and Jeffrey Hambrick.

Angelia's journey was marked by a profound commitment to her family, her faith, and her community. She shared 24 years of marriage with her devoted husband, Christopher Shane Pruitt. Together, they raised three remarkable children: Christopher Pruitt who is engaged to Lauren Whitley; Lilly Pruitt and Nathan Pruitt all of Lawndale. Angelia also leaves behind her cherished sister, Rebecca Wormuth of Leland, NC.

Angelia's role as a mother was her greatest joy, and she instilled in her children the values of compassion, integrity, and perseverance.

The family will receive friends from 10:00am to 11:00am on Saturday, July 5, 2025 at Norman's Grove Baptist Church.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, July 5, 2025 at Norman's Grove Baptist Church with the Rev. Tim Smith and Rev. Chris Decker officiating.

Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
