Mrs. Angeline Young Duncan, 55, of 321 Grice Street Shelby, NC departed this life on Friday, September 19, 2025, at her residence. She was born on November 17, 1969 in Cleveland County, NC to the late George T. and Geraldine Lockhart Young.

Angie was united in marriage to Darrell Duncan, and together they shared a loving bond and lasting memories. She also leaves precious memories to her deeply loved sons, Antonio Washington and William L. Haynes Jr.; and she was always there for her sisters, Ann Moore and Barbara Moore; and her adored grandchildren, Aaliyah Washington, Princeton Washington, and Karsyn Camp Haynes; and many other family and friends.

Funeral services were held on Friday, October 3, 2025, at 2:00 PM at Hopper's Chapel Baptist Church. Burial will take place at Sunset Cemetery.
