Anna Maria Murray, 64, passed away Friday, October 27, 2023 at her home in Grover, NC.

Born in Cleveland County on January 1, 1959 she was the daughter of the late Lloyd G. Murray and Lola B. Murray. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her three brothers, Gilbert Murray, Jerry Murray and Gerald Wade Murray, as well as her second mother to her entire family Eva G. Ward, affectionately known as Nanny.

Anna is survived by her daughter, Shasta B. Venhuizen (Jed), a son Joshua C. Burgess, granddaughters Morgan Venhuizen, Kaylee Venhuizen and two brothers Tommy Murray (Vanessa), Danny Murray (Sonja), as well as, her two sisters, Brenda Nestlerode (Raymond) and Lora Harding.

A private graveside service will be held.
