Anna Stalter, age 65, of Ellenboro, passed away Sunday, September 1, 2024 at her home.

Anna was born Monday, November 17, 1958 in Hendersonville, NC to the late Frances Burns Ashe. She was a graduate of Blue Ridge Community College in Hendersonville where she earned an associate degree in accounting. She worked as a subcontractor for the Department of Defense for many years. She enjoyed craftwork, flower gardening, traveling and was an avid shopper. Her greatest joy in life was found in spending time with her grandchildren and her family.

In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by brothers, Roger Ashe and Chan Ashe.

Those left to treasure her memory include her husband of twenty-three years, Leo Christopher Stalter; son, Jason Bailey (Sarah) of Greer, SC; Nicole Nelson (Chris) of Ellenboro; sisters, Kathy Jones (Danny) of Hendersonville and Angel Griffith (Johnny) of Campobello, SC; four grandchildren, Alex Owens, Grayson Bailey, Deacon Bailey, Jett Bailey and a number of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

In accordance with Anna's wishes, there will be no formal services.
